This product complies with California Law (SB 1972) and other state/local laws regarding compostable labeled products. BioBags are Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) certified to meet the ASTM D6400 specification, which is the North American equivalent of the European EN 13432 standard. Both specifications require that compostable products completely decompose in a composting setting within a specific time frame, leaving no harmful residues behind.

For best results, use BioBags within one year of purchase and store them in a cool, dry place away from excessive heat. You can even try keeping them in the fridge or freezer. Change out the used BioBag as often as possible, as they are star-sealed at the bottom for extra strength to prevent leaking, though condensation may still form when used in a closed container.
